With Ebola in the news as of late, it is important to educate oneself on what the disease is, how it is transmitted, and steps to prevent infection. Of most importance, it should be noted that it can only be transmitted through direct contact with bodily fluids, and that a person is NOT contagious unless they are showing symptoms. The Campus health Improvement Program (CHIP) is a volunteer organization of UMFK employees and students committed to improving campus health and wellness.
