Preserve Your Family Treasures with Mary Kate Kwasnik
Sign up for our next event! This free, virtual presentation will focus on the best at-home preservation practices for old documents. We will discuss simple steps for identifying and correcting improper handling and storage of paper-based and photographic materials in family collections.
The presentation will feature Mary Kate Kwasnik of the Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC). Kwasnik holds an MLIS from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. She has served as the Archivist and Special Collections Librarian at the Patten Free Library in Bath, ME; the Manager of Adult Programming at the New York Public Library; and the Manager of Exhibitions and Public Programs at the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
