Providing Confidential Services for Students and Employees
About the Confidential Resource Advisor
UMFK’s Confidential Resource Advisor (CRA) is located in Powell Hall’s Student Success Center and works under the Office of Equal Opportunity to provide confidential services related to sexual misconduct, intimate partner violence/abuse, and stalking for students and employees in the University of Maine System (UMS). CRAs will not disclose confidential information without the prior written consent of the party who shared that information and are not obligated to report occurrences to the Title IX deputy. However, CRAs are mandated to report any abuse that has occurred or is occurring to minors.
Confidential Resource Advisors can assist students and employees of the University of Maine System with several options to protect the safety and well-being of individuals.
