Research Interests

My primary area of research focuses on archetypal dynamics in European literature focusing on the Jungian shadow as it appears in literary works of the Romantic period (late 1700s through mid-1800s). More recently, I have also been writing on mythopoesis in the works of British author J. R. R. Tolkien (1892-1973).
